2003

The National Award for Best Theatre Performance for Children was presented, by the Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairsto, to the performance Pinocchio, by Carlo Collodi, adapted for stage and directed by Cornel Todea, set designer Viaceslav Vutcariov.

2004

The award for Best Performance was achieved by If I were Little Red Riding Hood, by Ioan Gârmacea, directed by Sorana Coroamã-Stanca, at the Theatre Festival in Piatra Neamţ.

The Special Award for theatre for children was presented, by UNITER (Romanian Association of Theatre Artists), to actor Boris Petroff.

2005

Diploma in excellence, for high artistic quality, was presented, by the Theatre Festival in Piatra Neamţ, to the performance The Heart of Stone, adaptation by Banu Rãdulescu, after W. Hauff, directed by Sorana Coroamã-Stanca.

The Special Award for theatre for children - 40 years of theatre for children, was presented, by UNITER (Romanian Association of Theatre Artists) to Ion Creangã Theatre

The award for Best Performance, at the second edition of the International Theatre Festival for Children 100, 1.000, 1.000.000 stories was achieved by Ion Creangă Theatre's performance If I were Little Red Riding Hood, by Ioan Gârmacea, after Charles Perrault, directed by Sorana Coroamã Stanca.

The Special Award for theatre for children was presented, by UNITER (Romanian Association of Theatre Artists) to the actor Lucian Ifrim.

2007

The Special Award for theatre for children was presented by UNITER (Romanian Association of Theatre Artists) to director Cornel Todea.

The award for Best Set and Costume Design was achieved, at the third edition of the International Theatre Festival for Children 100, 1.000, 1.000.000 stories by Ion Creangă Theatre's performance The Little Tiger who loved pancakes, stage adaptation of a script written by children at the Baylor Theatre, Waco-Texas, musical arrangements and direction by Cornelius Pavaloi.

2009

The Fire Bird Trophy, for Best Actress in a Leding Part, was achieved by Ani Creţu, at the International Theatre Festival for Children Naj, Naj, Naj, held in Zagreb, Croatia, for the part of Pinocchio, in the performance Pinocchio, after Carlo Collodi, directed by Cornel Todea, set designer Viaceslav Vutcariov. 

Grand award for best performance, achieved, at the International Theatre Festival for Children Magic Curtain, held in Targoviste, Bulgaria, by the performance Pinocchio, after Carlo Collodi, directed by Cornel Todea, set designer Viaceslav Vutcariov.

Best director award - Cornel Todea, for the performance Snow White and the 7 dwarfs, at the 5th edition of the International Theatre Festival for Children 100, 1.000, 1.000.000 stories, organised by Ion Creanga Theatre, in Bucharest, between 3 and 10 October

Best costume design of a play award - for the performance The War of Food, by Ioan Gârmacea, direction Mihai Manolescu, set and costume designer Anca Pâslaru, within the 12th edition of the International Theatre Festival for Children Magic Curtain, held in Targoviste, Bulgaria, between the 2nd and 6th of May.
